That is expected for a card you already saved. Cardora uses the same Google Wallet object ID and updates that object rather than deliberately creating duplicates.

Cardora creates a Google Wallet Generic pass from your published card. A stable Wallet object ID lets Cardora update the existing object when you run the save flow again instead of intentionally creating a second pass.
Before you start
- A published Cardora card with the contact fields you want to present.
- A Google account and access to Google Wallet on the device where you want to keep the pass.

Create and publish the source card
Add your name, role, contact fields, links, photo, and styling. Publish the card before starting the Google Wallet flow.

Open the Google Wallet option
Open the card's Wallet area and choose Google Wallet. Cardora prepares the Wallet object from the current published card.

Continue through Add to Google Wallet
Review the Google Wallet screen, save the pass to your Google account, and open it once to confirm the visible fields and QR destination.

Present the QR to the recipient
Open the pass during a meeting and let the other person scan. They can view your profile or save the vCard without installing Cardora or Google Wallet.
Troubleshooting
Common questions during setup
The pass still shows old details
Publish the edited Cardora card first, then run the Google Wallet save flow again so Cardora updates the existing Wallet object.
The QR opens the wrong destination
Check whether the card is set to Public profile or Direct vCard, publish the change, and run the Google Wallet flow again.
A recipient does not use Android
That is fine. Google Wallet is only where the owner keeps the pass; recipients use their camera to scan the QR and open a web profile or vCard.

The pass gives the card owner a quick place to open and present their QR. It is not a pass that every recipient must save to Google Wallet.
One stable object avoids deliberate duplicates
Cardora uses a stable object ID for the card. Running the Google Wallet flow again updates that object so an already-saved pass can receive the current published fields.
The QR works beyond Android
The recipient only needs a camera and browser. The QR can open your public profile or a direct vCard download on iPhone, Android, or desktop.
Is a Google Wallet business card available on the Free plan?
Yes. The Free plan supports Google Wallet pass generation for one Cardora-branded card, with no credit card required.
Does the recipient need Google Wallet?

What happens when I run Add to Google Wallet again?

How do I update the details shown on the pass?

What can the QR code open?

Does Cardora confirm the pass was installed?
