Before you start

Create and publish the source card
Add your name, role, contact fields, links, photo, and styling. Publish the card before generating the Wallet pass.

Open the Apple Wallet option
Open the card's Wallet area and choose Apple Wallet. If you are working from another device, use Cardora's email option to open the attached pass on your iPhone or iPad.

Review and add the pass
Apple shows the pass before installation. Review it, add it to Wallet, and open it once to confirm the visible fields and QR destination.

Present the QR to the recipient
Open the pass during a meeting and let the other person scan. They can view your profile or save the vCard without installing Cardora.

Common questions during setup
The pass downloaded on the wrong device
Use the Apple pass email fallback and open the attachment on your iPhone or iPad, then add it from the Wallet preview.
The QR opens the wrong destination
Check whether the card is set to Public profile or Direct vCard, publish the change, and generate the Apple pass again.
A recipient does not use an iPhone
That is fine. Apple Wallet is only where the owner keeps the pass; recipients use their camera to scan the QR and open a web profile or vCard.

What can the Apple Wallet QR code point to?
The QR can point to the public profile or a direct vCard download, depending on the card's QR destination setting.
Can I email the pass to myself?
Yes. Cardora includes an Apple Wallet email fallback for opening the pass from an iPhone or iPad.
Does the person scanning need an iPhone?
No. Apple Wallet is used by the card owner. A recipient can scan the QR with another phone and open the public profile or vCard in a browser.
Does Cardora confirm the pass was installed?
Cardora can record successful pass generation, but final installation is completed in Apple Wallet and is not proven by the generation event alone.
